Seventh - Day Adventist Church
SOUTH WEST GHANA CONFERENCE
Welcome
The South West Ghana Conference is a church administrative unit of the Seventh-day Adventist church in Ghana. The conference operates under Southern Ghana Union Conference of the West-Central Africa Division. It was established in 1995, organized in 1998, and reorganized and territory divided in 2017. It consists of the following territories: south-western Ghana which includes the land mass encompassing the major portion of the Western region of Ghana, bounded on the south by the Gulf of Guinea, on the west by the borders of Cote d’Ivoire, on the east by the Central region of Ghana, and on the north by Nsuaem in the Takwa-Nsuaem municipality. The conference headquarters is in Sekondi, Ghana.
Revision of these statements may be expected at a quinquennial General Conference Session whenever the church is led by the Holy Spirit to a fuller understanding of Bible truth, or if better language is found to express these teachings of God’s Holy Word.
Seventh-day Adventists accept the Bible as their only creed and hold certain fundamental beliefs to be the teaching of the Holy Scriptures. These beliefs, as set forth here, constitute the church’s understanding and expression of the teaching of Scripture.
The expression of these concepts help provide an overall picture of what this Christian denomination collectively believes and practices. Together, these teachings reveal a God who is the architect of the world. In wisdom, grace and infinite love, He is actively working to restore a relationship with humanity that will last for eternity.
Our Fundamental Beliefs
By His death on the cross, Jesus triumphed over the forces of evil. He who subjugated the demonic spirits during His earthly ministry has broken their power and made certain their ultimate doom.
Jesus’ victory gives us victory over the evil forces that still seek to control us, as we walk with Him in peace, joy, and assurance of His love. Now the Holy Spirit dwells within us and empowers us. Continually committed to Jesus as our Saviour and Lord, we are set free from the burden of our past deeds.

GROWING IN CHRIST

I Will Go Worldwide
I Will Go involves all church members in reaching the world, inspiring and equipping them to use their God-given spiritual gifts in witness and service for Christ.
At its core, I Will Go is about you. It’s also about the whole church and other institutions partnering to share the gospel with our communities and to the ends of the earth.
The value of the plan will be determined as the Church works together as a worldwide team of brothers and sisters, under the power of the Holy Spirit.
The Great Commission says: Jesus’ followers are to go and make disciples of all nations. The gospel must be shared with hundreds of unreached people around the world.
